Itinerary:

Day 1: Hanoi - Halong (-,L,D)

At 8h30 AM, you will commence from Hanoi by a 3 and a half hour drive to Halong Bay. As you start out on your journey from Hanoi, you can enjoy the beautiful Red River Delta with its scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and everyday life in the villages. Upon arrival Halong Bay, you will get aboard the traditional junk and enjoy lunch with fresh seafood before visiting the Surprise Grotto. Your guide will then inform you the basic kayaking information in Halong, and you are ready to set out on your adventure. The kayak gives you the opportunity to explore places where only a few tourists have ventured before. If the conditions are favorable you can sleep out under the stars for a moonlight paddle. Your overnight accommodation is on the junk.

Day 2: Halong - Hanoi (B,L,-)

In the morning you’ll start paddling early and explore the Luon Cave with spectacular landscapes on the way. You will paddle among fishermen, islands, hidden beaches. At the end of this magnificent trip you’ll have lunch on the junk before sailing back to Halong City at noon, where your bus is waiting to transfer you back to Hanoi. You will arrive back in Hanoi at around 5 pm.
